KYBURZ has been using ECIE turn signals from Italy since 2007. The commercially available indicator is specially assembled for KYBURZ with regard to the wiring. To ensure safety in road traffic, the indicator has undergone various certifications and tests.

The left and right turn signals are practically identical. The small and subtle difference is an approx. 2 x 4 mm recess on the housing. This hole ensures that any water that penetrates can drain off. The indicator should therefore always be mounted so that the drain is at the bottom.

The actual indicator housing is mounted on the chassis with a slightly springy connecting piece so that it does not break immediately in the event of light impacts. Removing a single screw is enough to replace the bulb. On KYBURZ vehicles produced before 2007, some of which were equipped with rigidly mounted turn signals, this type of indicator can be retrofitted without any problems.

Good to know:
The most common defect of the indicator is the mechanical destruction of the orange indicator glass. If the transparent orange plastic part is cracked, however, the complete indicator does not have to be replaced. Under part no. 305500.00 KYBURZ offers a replacement lens for only CHF 8.60 incl. VAT, which is compatible with the left and right indicator.
