The company Rollerbude Thun exists since 1.10.2010 in Thun (BE). They are a service partner of KYBURZ and successfully look after the vehicle fleet of the Swiss Post in the Thun region. Fabian Schweri had a conversation with Peter Marti, the business owner.
Fabian Schweri: How would you describe the Rollerbude Thun in 3 sentences?
Peter Marti:
Small motivated business on the edge of Thun city centre.
We represent Piaggio, Vespa and Gilera.
We have been a KYBURZ service partner for years.
There is no such thing as can't
Fabian: What distinguishes your company, what is special about you?
Peter: We love our craft. The care and satisfaction of our customers is important to us.
Fabian: How long have you been KYBURZ service partners?
Peter: Since 2011. We have worked with the post office before and have been partners with KYBURZ since the beginning.
Fabian: What are your tasks as a service partner?
Peter: We operate the service and maintenance of the Post DXP / PAH as well as a small fleet of private DXP/S.
Fabian: How do you organise these tasks?
Peter: With a very well-functioning network to the vehicle managers of the post office, we coordinate the repairs in advance, which are done in the afternoon and leave the scooter shop on the same day.
Fabian: How many vehicles and which area are you responsible for?
Peter: Our area covers the entire letter centre of the Thun region - that corresponds to a radius of about 10 km. New this year is the Oberland with Zweisimmen, Gstaad and Lenk. We have 107 DXP and 98 PAH in maintenance.
Fabian: What do you do when you are not repairing DXPs?
Peter: We are fanatical Vespa fans. We sell, repair and restore Vespas with passion.
