Thanks to our Belgian partner Olivier Van Acker, the first meeting with Jan Debille took place at the Auto Salon in Brussels in January 2018.
Jan Debille's idea was to be able to use an electric vehicle for the simulation tests that Siemens conducts.
The eRod was the perfect match! Jan immediately saw the eRod as a potential technology demonstrator.
Since that first meeting, Siemens has ordered nine eRods. The vehicles are located in Belgium, China, Germany and the USA.
We are currently building one eRod for Germany and another for the USA.
