After a delay of several months, the ISO 14001 environmental audit took place last week. Mr Schardt, the auditor, travelled from Germany for the audit and spent one and a half days examining our company and its processes. The focus is always on the environmental aspect and how we integrate it into our actions. The auditor examines both the documentation and what happens on site. Last week, Mr Schardt, René Stoll, Joshua Zimmermann and Fillo Gecaj visited the production, development, fleet and 2ndLife departments, among others. During this whole time, deficiencies and suggestions are documented and should be fixed or implemented for the next year. This is how we ensure that KYBURZ meets the standard requirements and can thus call itself the holder of an environmental certificate. If you have any questions about the audit, contact Fillo.

Good to know:

A certificate is valid for three years. In between, surveillance audits take place to ensure that the requirements of the standard are still met. Our ISO 14001 certificate expires in February next year. Therefore, a recertification audit is planned for January 2022.
