On Sunday, 23.05.21, the Kart4Hope event took place in Cazis.
A total of 9 teams of four competed in a 2-hour go-kart race. The event was for a good cause: the Greenhope Foundation uses the proceeds to organise events that offer children with cancer and their families great experiences and some distraction from the fight against the disease.

KYBURZ sponsored two weekends of eRod rental as a prize for the race.

Tino Wehrli, Dani Weber, Florijan Blazevic and Flurin Vicentini signed up for the race as a private team. They were cheered on and supported by Mirjam and Sandra.
After very wet and slippery practice and qualifying laps, luckily the rain stopped and there was a great 2h race in the best weather. The KYBURZ team eventually made it to a strong 2nd place and got to pick a podium and a prize. 

As our employer KYBURZ was also a sponsor of the event, the team decided to pass on the prize to the last-placed team. Everyone was enthusiastic about this sporting event and will certainly have fond memories of the KYBURZ team.

Good to know

The event in Cazis was one of numerous sports events for "Greenhope Day 2021".
Sporting events in aid of the Greenhope Foundation took place all over Switzerland.

We organise events to give children with cancer and their families some distraction and some happy and carefree moments.
Our goal is for the children fighting their cancer to experience such moments unburdened by the disease together with their peers and their families and thus gain shared experiences.
